Alphawolf Posted March 11, 2002 Posted March 11, 2002 Just to let you know....I applied "WriteRight" (by Fellowes) to the screen of my Garmin V, and it works great! For those of you who haven't heard of it, it is usually used to protect the screens of PDA's. It also works great to protect and "fix" the beam pattern of MagLites. (and probably a lot of other flashlights, too) Quote
davestill Posted March 12, 2002 Posted March 12, 2002 I read (here or at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Magellan_Meridian) that someone used a WriteRight or something similar intended for PDAs on their display lens, and upon removal they found the lens to be etched! Something about PDAs using a glass surface instead of plastic ... Dave Quote
Best_Buddies Posted March 12, 2002 Posted March 12, 2002 Actually, I believe that it was the sci.geo.sattelite-nav news group. You can access this from here: http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&frame=right&th=ba0742c1374281f4&seekm=a578gu%247k1%241%40trappist.cs.ubc.ca#link1 Quote
