SUMMER 2025 MISSION:

Who is ready for a Summer Geocoin Mission?  

 

So much to do in summertime!  So many summer holidays!  Our favorite is Summer Solstice, so that will be the sign-up deadline for this one!   

 

This is a 'typical' mission:  You will be assigned a name and you will send that person or family  a full-sized unactivated geocoin and a card or note describing your favorite summer activity or holiday.   That's it!    Of course, you can include other trackables,  more geo-related or summer-related items too.   

 

Each participant will send one envelope or package, and receive one from a different person.  Names will be chosen at random, and you may take on more than one Mission if you want.  Note that this Mission is open to international participants. 

 

Please sign-up by sending an email to us at teambearcat@gmail.com with the following info: your GC name, "real" name, and physical mailing address.   Please put SUMMER 2025 MISSION in caps in the subject line.  You must send an email with the required info by June 21vcx      , 2025 and post in this thread to be entered in this Mission. (Feel free to mention favorite colors, kinds of geocoins, etc in your sign-up post on this thread, to help your partner decide what to send you!) 

 

Names will sent by ~ June 26.  Ideally your package will be received by your partner by August 1st,

so please plan to get it assembled and mailed by July 20th (Moon Day!)    

 

Please make a new post in the Forum with updates as the Mission progresses.

My favorites are Owls, Hedgehogs, dogs, dragons, horses, motorcycles, cars, New Age, Celtic, Egyptian, alien, astronomy, astrology, colorful/glow.  

The top on my wish list is a GC trackable North Dakota geocoin.

And FTF Magazine Volume 1 Issue 1 --- I can still hope!!!

I enjoy surprises, too, and would be happy with any coins I may receive for Missions!!!
