Release Notes (Geocaching® app (iOS): Unearned and upcoming souvenirs - June 2, 2025

 

Today, we are releasing a new feature in the Geocaching® app for iOS (available for version 9.72.0+): Profile > Souvenirs now includes souvenirs you haven’t earned, upcoming souvenirs, and how to earn them.

 

 

 

Tap on the souvenirs and see how to earn them.

 

Nicole (nykkole), Product Manager, is watching this thread to answer questions whenever possible.

Great question! Currently, the upcoming and unearned souvenirs feature is only available on iOS. We’re always evaluating opportunities to bring new features to all platforms and appreciate your interest—feedback like this helps us understand what’s important to players.

I don't currently see any upcoming souvenirs in the App. (Like the June solstice June 20-22)

 

How far in advance will they be listed? 

 

Will the "available" or "upcoming" souvenirs be limited to world-wide souvenirs? I'm assuming I won't see souvenirs for Mega events in Europe listed as available, for example.
