+hugesinker Posted June 1 Posted June 1 I'm trying to edit my Community Celebration event. I can modify every field except for the Description field! It's just kind of greyed out. I can't even change any of the pulldowns for Styles, Format, etc. It's also empty, even though there should be default text in there that we're supposed to leave at the bottom of the description-- that is, the text describing the special nature of these events due to the anniversary. I wanted to schedule this for the end of June. Please help! This event is GCAW0WB Quote
+Viajero Perdido Posted June 1 Posted June 1 (edited) Are you running any kind of ad-blocker that might be blocking ckeditor.com? Seems I had this problem a few years back. In my case it was NoScript, a Firefox add-on, doing the blocking, and I had to add that site to the whitelist. It never hurts to add more details of your operating system, web browser, add-ons, etc, when seeking technical support. It saves people from having to ask. Cheers. +hugesinker Posted June 1 Author Posted June 1 Looks like the problem is only happening in Firefox, when I tried Edge it's okay.. This was happening on two different machines, Windows 10 and 11. I've created events and caches from Firefox before. Also, I think that the first time the editor was open, I could change the description text. It's the second edit screen, where it gives you the opportunity to upload a background image, where it would not work anymore. I don't have any special on-page add blocking, just stuff for pop-ups and it doesn't seem to matter how those are configured. Quote
