What does last visited mean?

Whenever I go to another geocachers profile I see "last visited" I used to think it was the last time they were on geocaching but then I saw a geocachers profile and it said "last visited never" so what does last visited mean?

Last time they visited the website. A cacher who 'last visited never' most likely has only used the app.

Understand that there are many out there now whose only interaction with geocaching is through their phone, and those transactions aren't seen by the geocaching.com web site, and aren't recorded as "visits".  So there are cachers who have been at it for a number of years now, have tons of hides and finds, and "never" is what you'll see.

Last Visited means the last time they visited the website.

One of my family members only uses the app. She never used the website before. So her profile says Last Visited Never.

I don't think you can hide a geocache using only the app. At least I don't see a way to.

There isn't a way to hide a cache using the app!!!
