When I use "Get Geocaches," I get the error "Data not available for queried users" after selecting the area I want the caches downloaded from. Why is this happening.

What steps are you taking that gives this error? Where is "Get geocaches"? 

Website? An app?

I found a few threads about it online, for a couple of Geocaching Apps.  It seems to clear up on its own quickly.

 

Here are some general tips that you may review while you wait.

Your geocaching member ID (not login name) is what GSAK uses.  If you've somehow gotten sideways with that in the process of the name change, the problem is understandable.  Let's pretend that you're doing this from scratch to make sure nothing is missed.

 

Next to your username in the top right corner, select the down arrow to select Settings.

Select Account.

Your "Member ID:" is listed near the top.

 

Make sure that's the one you have provided to GSAK.

Tools / Options / Method for matching ... and click the radio button for "Owner ID#"

Enter your owner ID # (Member ID) in the box.

OK.

 

Then, at GSAK, also be sure you have done this:

Geocaching.com Access / Update user information

with the "Update matching to use gc.com user ID" selected.
