JDMC
Is there any interest in a program that could transfer waypoints, routes, and tracks to/from a Meridian SD card? I'm thinking of adding that capability to USAPhotoMaps. It would be pretty easy, since the data on the card is in exactly the same format that's required for a serial transfer. Quote Link to comment
+phantom4099
I would be intrested in such a function, I have not seen any other program to do this yet (any one know of one?). I also like how you speeded up the transfers to and from the meridian (I was never able to get the waypoint function to work right prior to the latest version 2.05.2). Wyatt W. I want to be able to transfer a .loc file to the SD directly, without having to play games with deleting waypoints and loading them and dumping them to the SD card. A single step process would be much nicer. --Marky "All of us get lost in the darkness, dreamers learn to steer with a backlit GPSr" Quote Link to comment
robertlipe
gpsbabel does that. It knows how to read and write waypoints to meridian flash files just fine. The track and route support isn't fully there yet, but it's probably 90% there; it just someone to spend an hour and finish it. As for single step, it's quite automatable. http://gpsbabel.sourceforge.net Quote Link to comment

+TEAM BUBBA
I have a question that is somewhat along these lines. When loading a waypoint file from my sd card onto the Meridian how do I get it to drop the waypoints that are already loaded? Or do I have to do a clear memory on the unit itself? John TEAM BUBBA Quote Link to comment
