Transferring data to Meridian SD card

Is there any interest in a program that could transfer waypoints, routes, and tracks to/from a Meridian SD card? I'm thinking of adding that capability to USAPhotoMaps. It would be pretty easy, since the data on the card is in exactly the same format that's required for a serial transfer.

I would be intrested in such a function, I have not seen any other program to do this yet (any one know of one?).

I also like how you speeded up the transfers to and from the meridian (I was never able to get the waypoint function to work right prior to the latest version 2.05.2).

That doesn't get waypoints, etc. from my computer to the SD card, that just gets waypoints from the GPSr to the card and back. I want to be able to transfer a .loc file to the SD directly, without having to play games with deleting waypoints and loading them and dumping them to the SD card. A single step process would be much nicer.

It's as easy as:

REM *** MAKE MAGELLAN FILE FOR MERIDIAN-LA ONLY ***

gpsbabel -i gpx -f 877.gpx -o magellan -F lacache.wpt

REM *** MAKE MAGELLAN FILE FOR MERIDIAN-OTHERS ***

gpsbabel -i geo -f 51.loc -o magellan -F unfound.wpt

(part of my weekly mess-o-waypoints transformation batch)

I honestly don't remember the last time I hooked the serial connection up to load waypoints.
