Canadian postal codes are sometimes written without spaces. It would be nice if the search recognized this. 2. I have a hunch that the error is because it's trying to match the postal code as a TB code...? Ideally that can be fixed.
+janrei_ Posted May 27 Posted May 27 The new search also returns partial matches, which makes it difficult to find old caches with short GC codes. Perhaps exact matches should appear first in the results list. Alternatively, the "Search" button on the keyboard could take you directly to the relevant cache instead of just reloading the results list. I also noticed that I get an error message when I enter terms that start with "GT" but are not a valid GT code.
+Dr.MORO Posted May 29 Posted May 29 (edited) Hi! Just checked to see if the Japanese Postal Codes (Zip codes) work in the search, and they DO NOT, unfortunately. I think this is a must-have for all Japanese & geocachers in Japan. Please integrate this feature into the omni-search function. BTW, Japanese Postal Codes are usually three (3) digits, with additional four (4) digits to narrow down the region, similar to the US Postal Zip codes with five (5) plus four (4), both connected with a hyphen (-). Thanks in advance! ~ Dr.MORO Edited May 29 by Dr.MORO
