+da Bush Man Posted May 15 Posted May 15 The Geocaching app provides no means to visit or drop a trackable when logging your find on your phone. The only way around this is to edit your log later on the Geocaching.com website and that interface allows you to do it. Not only is this a bit of a nuisance, but you probably won't do that right away, or maybe forget. In the meantime, the trackable could be picked up and the current location and location history for the trackable is now inaccurate. Thanks for continuing to add features to the Geocaching mobile app. Quote

But I do wish I could drop them and log my find at the same time. Quote

In the app, I find it quite easy to log the cache, either a draft or an actual log, then scroll down to Trackables, click "Yours" tab, and log my drops from there. I can also retrieve any that may be in the cache, right there on the Geocache tab of the trackables page. And the trackable history is accurate as of the time of your log on the app. I generally log things later on the computer, but I do make a point of logging the trackables I have picked up or dropped right there at the cache. 1 Quote
