Trackable’s disappearing?

So a couple of days ago, I was checking in on my geocache. I had put a trackable in my geocache but that day I went up to my geocache to find it missing then I thought oh somebody took it and moved on, but then I went to look at the trackable’s logs, and there was no log there. Can someone tell me about this?

A similar thing happened to me one time.  I placed a brand new TB in my own cache, returned a couple days later, and it had vanished like magic.  No cache log at all, and no TB log.  Gone.  Huh.  Weird.

Maybe in your case, the Geocacher travels and simply hasn't had time to type a log?

Sometimes a Geocacher will take it, and even place it into another cache.  But if that cacher forgot to make a note of the Tracking Code, there is no way to make a log.  OK, maybe with a slight amount of research, they could make a Note log at least.  Aye, there's the rub... Providing information is work.  There's no Souvenir, no increased Stats for doing that...

But if they did in fact place it into a cache, maybe the next cacher will log it.  Here's hoping!  Good luck!  :anicute:

That's what trackables do, they disappear.  Every single trackable that I have placed has gone missing.  I've also been accused to stealing trackables because I was the last to log them as discovered.  I don't bother with trackables anymore.
