+tirediron
Does anyone know if/where I can find a downloadable version of a converter like this on at Jeeep.com? I need a stand-alone application to run on either my laptop or Palm. I have searched the 'net for hours, but haven't found one... All leads appreciated. Thanks Quote Link to comment

geoStrider
Curious George or anyone else, does that spreadsheet you mentioned only provide coord conversions in WGS84 or are other datums supported? +pizzachef
I know it's not the most convenient way to do it, but if you're in a pinch, couldn't you just change your coord system or datum in your gps..enter in the coord, and then change back to the original coordinate system and look at the coord you just entered? Seems like the gps would make the most ideal coordinate conversion tool...but it is a little cumbersome to keep changing settings... -pizzachef Quote Link to comment

Unfortunately, several of the applications that I use prefer their input in different formats, so this seemed to be the easiest soloution. Thanks again all Quote Link to comment
+BigBirdNL
Here's another one:http://home.tiscali.nl/bigbird/files/CMConvertor.zip. Converts WGS to and from RD (Dutch Grid) and to UTM. It has also UK grid hidden. If needed, I can also make that available. BigBird -- there is no spoon -- Quote Link to comment
thueringen-scout
I can give you a small self written tool for PC's. It is a calculator (appears similar like the Windows calculator) that is able to convert LAT/LONG coordinates in decimal format into degrees/minutes/secons and vice versa. If you need it just contact me: kaiwick@web.de Quote Link to comment
+woodsters
thueringen-scout, you may want to include that if they like it that you want them to send you the money for it, so they won't be surprised when they hear from you and that you are requesting the money for it.
