+doingitoldschool Posted April 23 Posted April 23 So I did try a search for this, and didn't find what I was looking for. My caching bag has changed A LOT since 2007. Here's what I had today, for a light bush, near the highway trail. I went "old school" and used the 64sx for finding the caches. Several pens, including a space pen, pocket knife, large and small multi-tool, lighter, whistle and pen on lanyard, bear spray, bear banger with two rounds, battery pack for charging cell phone, extra Lithium AA batteries, Rite-in-the-Rain notepad, GPSMAP 64sx, eyeglass tool, magnet extension tool, Canada Geocoin (my personal trackable) credit card tool, and a flashlight. All in the handy MEC shoulder bag, with the bear-spray on a carabiner hanging off the shoulder strap. I also had a bottle of water in my bunny-hug pocket, and I had my iPhone 16. Ruby the Wonder Puggle (she's a trackable) on a harness, with a leash handy and a snack bag with treats. She also drank some of my water, drank from the river, and ate snow. 2 1 Quote

+doingitoldschool Posted April 24 Author Posted April 24 I thought about a car bag, and you've got a great kit. Quote
+booksncomics Posted April 24 Posted April 24 After picking up a tick yesterday, I need to add heavy duty bug speay to the kit. 1 Quote
