Now I'm looking to take geocaching up again and am considering a SporTrak Map. I have Topo loaded on my PC (but no CD) from when I bought my MeriPlat. Will I be able to utilize the Topo I have on my PC with a new SporTrak Map or will I need to buy another CD copy of Topo? I would think it depended on which installation you chose as to whether you need the CD or not. Quote Link to comment

I simply had to copy the directory from the CD to the HD, then edit the registry key pointing to the CD-ROM, changing it to the location of the file directory. It's 100x quicker now. Brian Team A.I.
