+Mastifflover Posted April 9 Posted April 9 (edited) Help! Could someone give me a step by step on how to download my pocket query to my new gps via Bluetooth. After I synced, the geocaches show if you go into waypoint manager but not in the Geocaches menu. Edited April 9 by Mastifflover Quote
JaVaWa Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Did import the pocket query file in Explore to get it on your device? Geocaches are in fact waypoints with extra information that causes the device to handle them as geocaches. If Explore strips the extra information the waypoints will just be waypoints on your GPSMAP 65. Other devices like the GPSMAP 67 support Live Geocaching, it can download cache lists directly from geocaching.com (via the Connect app on your phone). I can't find anything about it in the GPSMAP 65 manual, so I'm guessing your device doesn't support Live Geocaching. So the only way to get your pocket queries on your device is a wired connection...
