Wanderschuler Posted April 4 Posted April 4 (edited) After owning, moving, and discovering hundreds of trackables in my geocaching lifetime, today I found my first NANO size trackable. I was honestly surprised how small it was: 0.4 inch, per the geocaching store listing. My question is: 1) how are these not immediately lost?!?!, and 2) has anyone had a nano trackable successfully travel far? I'm likely going to place it in a baggie with a cardstock note before I drop it somewhere. Edited April 4 by Wanderschuler 1 Quote
brekkcaching123 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 The one I had found had traveled at least 8000 miles when I picked it up if I remember correctly. But it was attached to a toy so it wasn't lost so easily. 1 Quote
Max and 99 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I keep my nano trackables in the original packaging which is pretty sturdy, in the hopes that it helps it not get lost. 1 1 Quote
niraD Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Just out of curiosity, what kind of magnifying glass do you use to read the tracking code on a nano geocoin? 1 1 Quote
paulohercules Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Could you please share pictures of the nano size trackable, without showing the code? Quote
qqnonrev Posted April 8 Posted April 8 I have gotten coin holders to place them in if I send them out. Just the cardboard fold overs seem to work. Quote
