+looking4jaz Posted March 25 Posted March 25 (edited) Over the past week, I have been trying to publish a new cache. Every time I reach the “save and submit” page, I’m met with error 500. I’ve tried many many times on multiple different devices (iOS, desktop) and multiple different browsers, (safari, Firefox, Google). I’ve also tried restarting the cache page all together. I’ve tried changing the coordinates slightly as well as the difficulty ratings thinking this may have been the problem for some reason, it was not. Still I’m met with the error. I have emailed them every other day, with one response saying that the problem had been resolved. Excited, I restarted the cache page and what do you know? I’m met once again with the same error. I’ve looked through the forums and help center and there is currently little info about this issue. It allows me to complete the coordinates, description, attributes, size, etc, but when I try to continue, it’s the same error message over and over again. The cache has already been placed so I need to get this resolved asap!!! This issue is growing more and more frustrating by the day. Seemingly no one is reading my complaints. Please someone help! +kunarion Posted March 25 Posted March 25 (edited) Have you tested it on a different network? This info suggests using mobile phone data instead of wifi, for example: https://www.siteground.com/kb/internal_server_error_500/ Other than that, based on what you've tried already, there's not much left to try on your end. You may contact your local Reviewer, saying that you're trying to set up on (particular coordinates), but that there's this issue. In case somecacher also sets up a cache in the exact same spot while you're working on it. Did HQ say what was done to "resolve the problem"? Edited March 25 by kunarion Quote
