Guest JollyBGood
If anyone else is using VPC on a MAC you might be interested in what I just discovered. A sweet little utility called VPC Helper (you can download it at http://www.infamus.com/ and it only costs 13 bucks). I was skeptical at first but as it turns out it holds true to it's promise. You run the program prior to running VPC and it quits the finder, reconfigures memory and a bunch of otherstuff I don't really understand so VPC can run and process faster. Map updates for Street Atlas Deluxe and TOPOUSA on my Titanium are so fast that it's hard to believe I'm running an emulator. I'm really impressed with this utility. Just thought I'd share the wealth. JRB Quote Link to comment
Guest macdaddymd@aol.com
Very sweet! I tried it, and I am very impressed with the difference! Thanks for a very cool tip. I use VPC a lot, and I think you are right... it hardly looks like an emulator!
