GarySharp
I just bought a Garmin V and I've seen two bean bag mounts so far to pick from. On has a velcro strip on it and the other uses the mounting device that came with the unit. Does anybody have any experience with these or have a recomendation? Thanks. Gary Quote Link to comment
Pillage people
I would buy the larger bag. P/N: 010-10306-00. It uses the mounting hardware that comes with the GPS V. The mount has four weighted tabs that have a flexable metal inside to conform to your dash. It has a broad base for stability. I have the larger bean mount and like it. pdumas
I agree buy the larger bag (P/N: 010-10306-00). I use it all the time from different cars and suv's. Quote Link to comment
+Garmen (& Women) Group
I just sprang for the velcro one for my Garmin GPS III+. After spending $20 or so I discovered it doesn't do well at all in a 92 4 Runner. With the antenna extended it does not fit on the driver's side because of the windshield slant. I was really disappointed in that. I'll just go back to the strip of velcro on the gps and another on the dash directly. Unfortunately the sun's heat after a short while messes up the glue on the velcro strip which is left exposed on the dash when the gps comes in the house after a trip. Quote Link to comment
