Arathonk Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Hey guys! Yesterday morning I found out that my premium membership has expired despite having had auto renew for years, and I haven't canceled anything. Also I have not received any emails about my membership stating a cancel or that my account was going to expire. What should I do now? I have contacted Geocaching HQ but unfortunately did not got any response and I have a big Geocaching day planned tomorrow. Thanks! Quote

Eventually, your membership problem will be cleared up, and you can log what you've found. If you have to, sign up for a new Basic membership so you can use the app. The only possible glitch would be seeking caches that the app doesn't show to Basic members. So, spend an hour or so tonight planning your day, and bring the info you'll need, just like we used to do it before all this phone stuff. A couple of years ago I did one of my 'Birthday Caching Day Outs' without my phone, reverting back to my old Explorist-GC GPSR. Had to plan the day and download caches, and brother, was it tougher than with a phone, but while I got less done with more work, it was fun! (But don't ask my wife what she thought about it.) You'll have to work harder, but that'll make the finds that much sweeter. Quote
