pin owner log entry to top

I would like to have the option for owners to pin their own log entry (note, announcement) open for their own events. The idea is to make certain information easy to find without editing the listing. I'm thinking of waiting lists for overcrowded events or something similar. Perhaps there are also situations where this would be helpful for classic caches?

You can put the link to your favourite note in the description. This way the information is easy to access and you can edit it without editing the listing.

Idea.

 

Groundspeak already puts, at the very top of the page in a conspicuous box, text of an Archive or Disable log.  They can simply do that for Announcement as well.

Thanks for your answers. My idea was, to see the pined Log/Announcement first, if you scroll down. To have a Link to the announcement is a step in the right direction. My idea is not new, e.g. "discussion forums" have this feature.
