Guest macdaddymd@aol.com
The GPS III+ had a way to slide a waypoint over from the map view to move its location, tweaking it. I can't seem to find the same on the GPS V, except with projecting a waypoint (bearing & disatnce values). Not quite as useful, as I often don't know the numbers. Any help out there? Thanks in advance. ------------------ Kent Harrisonburg, VA macdaddymd@aol.com Quote Link to comment
Guest Olar
Kent what you have to do is choose the waypoint from your waypoint list and press enter so the info window opens. Hilite 'MAP', press enter. You should now see it on the map with the panning pointer touching it. Press enter quickly and the word 'MOVE' shows just below pointer. Pan to new location then press enter. Finish by pressing 'QUIT' and click on 'OK". Hope that works for you. I'm still learning all the features of the V myself. Cheers, Bill Quote Link to comment
Guest macdaddymd@aol.com
Thanks, Bill. I knew it had to be there somewhere! My problem was having a GPS III+ first, and looking for it the way it used to be! Appreciate the hand! ------------------ Kent Harrisonburg, VA macdaddymd@aol.com Quote Link to comment
