dave and jaime Posted December 9, 2002 Share Posted December 9, 2002 a simple step down voltage regulator will work, as all you want to do is step down the voltage from 12v to 3.6v. be sure to fuse the input to the regulator and the output to gps to protect against surges. i would however suggest that you purchase this accessory as the manufacturing and fusing is controled and designed by magellan techs.
