+QuiltinAnnie Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Can I postpone a CITO event a few hours before the start time if it is pouring rain? Quote
+Viajero Perdido Posted January 24 Posted January 24 (edited) As far as I know, sure. I've postponed outdoor events by weeks for the same reasons. Be sure to use an Announcement log so everyone gets the message. (Some won't, that's a risk with last-minute changes.) Best of luck with V2. Edited January 24 by Viajero Perdido 1 Quote
francalkova Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Honestly, I’d check with the event organizers first to see if they have any rules about weather delays. I’ve had situations where we’ve had to postpone events due to rain, but it’s always about getting the word out to everyone as quickly as possible if it’s a go or not. If it’s just a bit of rain, it might be fine to continue, but if it’s really pouring, then postponing might be the safer bet. Quote
