Postponing a CITO event

As far as I know, sure. I've postponed outdoor events by weeks for the same reasons. 

 

Be sure to use an Announcement log so everyone gets the message.  (Some won't, that's a risk with last-minute changes.)

Honestly, I’d check with the event organizers first to see if they have any rules about weather delays. I’ve had situations where we’ve had to postpone events due to rain, but it’s always about getting the word out to everyone as quickly as possible if it’s a go or not. If it’s just a bit of rain, it might be fine to continue, but if it’s really pouring, then postponing might be the safer bet.
