There is an event I want to host in the future, it is a hike it has the BEST view of our small town its on a road by a radio shack or something but the problem is, the whole hike is on private property. (Not owned by me and we have no permission to be there.) Am I allowed to throw an event where the event is on private property? Also what are some event hosting tips?

An event can't be hosted along a hike, the event needs to be at a single location; so you could have the event at the start, or end, or a point along the route so you could choose a publicly available spot. Also while you can say on the event page that you're intending to do the hike you can't require that the attendees do it too.

What if the event is hosted on private property though, and if I state that the event cache is taking place on private property wont the reviewer stop me?

If it's on private property you'll need permission from the property owners which you then include with your reviewer note.

Your event needs to be at a fixed location - "moving" events aren't allowed.  It's OK for the event to be a the endpoint, beginning or midpoint of the hike.  If the event is on private property, permission is a good idea.

I'm a bit confused by this.

There's a hike involved but it's on a road?

You mean radio shack like an antenna utility building, not a location of the electronics store chain?

If it's private property and you don't have permission to be there that's trespassing, whether it's just you on a solo stroll or 50 people gathered for a geocaching event.

so there is a road to get to this shack but the roads to get there are like a maze, so instead we would start on an easy hiking trial for 15 minutes then bush wack for 10 minutes then we would get to this steep 50 degree hill for 30-40 minutes which takes us straight up the mountain it would end on a road with a radio shack as in a small building with antennas and stuff all over.

Do you have permission to be on this private property, geocaching or not geocaching?

If you have permission to go to that shack then publish the event at those co-ords at the time you intend to be there, and add to the event that you will be hiking there  and if anyone wants to join you for the hike then they should meet you at the start point at a particular time and you can all walk up together.

If you don't have permission to go to that shack then forget it.

I must be missing something.  You wrote this:

"the problem is, the whole hike is on private property. (Not owned by me and we have no permission to be there.) "

Do I understand correctly?  Your intended path to the event location is where you and no one else does not have permission to be.

You intend to trespass?  Hike where the property owners don't want you or others?

If so, why are you even asking this question?  Is this worth getting arrested for trespassing?  Are you going to put in the cache page that others are at risk of being arrested for trespassing?

I hope I'm misunderstanding the question.  This cannot be serious.
