I have a TB with invalid code, so unable to retrieve/log it?

I have a TB with an invalid TB code, and forgot what cache I retrieved it from.  How do I log/retrieve it when the code won't work?

Is it an official Travel Bug dogtag?  Is there a recent cache log about placing a TB?   Don't post the Tracking Code publicly.  But if there are letters and numbers that could be confused for other letters or numbers, one option is to try some combinations.  It is very important to return specifically https://www.geocaching.com/track/ for each attempt.

I know this might not be much help but you could post this same topic on the trackable forum, they might know what there doing a little better that we do.

It was confusion between a B and an 8. All fixed now!
