The clock is set by the signal from the satellites, (which are all synchronized) and can not be stopped, only adjusted for local time off-sets. The "stop navigation" option is to cancel an active "go-to" or route you are currently navigating.

Thats what I thought...(at least about the clock) but then it kills the values of the avg speed etc. (e.g. avg speed including the zero speeds when stopped for a while.).

 

Mybe I didn't start it right but if Im collecting data on a route, can't I use the "stop navigation" to pause the collection of data. Put the unit in "standby". Or is this only available when you are retracing a route?? icon_confused.gif
