I have retrived the camera from my cache above, and the pictures can be found on my Geocache page at my

web page

There is an e-mail link to let me know who is who!

I have filled in one or two names, hope I have got them right.

We might have more chance of seeing the pictures if the links pointed to your homepages and not your desktop.

I think the problem might be that the URL has a space in it.

Try this.

Edit: The link works now, but the images still point to your desktop. You need to change them from i.e. file:///C:/WINDOWS/Desktop/Web%20content/Who1.jpg to http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robstewart/Who1.jpg.

Ok how about,

use the original link, and go down the page to the geocache link, then the link to the photos is at the top of that page!!

Postie - this web page is pointing to jpg files on YOUR c: drive. Since you're permanently connected to your c: drive, you'll see the page fine. The problem is, the rest of us just see a big blank page with all the photos missing(!)

You'll need to change the page as per simonG's suggestion (and also need to make sure that all the jpgs have been uploaded to your web server!)

OK I think I know what happened!

I have re-loaded the page to my web site but it may take a while to refresh.

If this doesn't work Ill post the pics to any ony who wants them!! ( just joking!!)

As the Good Shepherds point out the old page lets me see the pics fine, so I won't know when the fresh link is working. Some one will have to let me know!! Ta

Your HTML code looks OK now, but unfortunately I don't think the jpg files have made it onto the server(!)

The jpegs are there. There are two problems with the links. 1. They all have a full stop at the end, and 2. your files end '.JPG' (upper case), with the exception of Who1.jpg, but your links end '.jpg.' (lower case).

So, the links should be:

I have changed all the file extentions ( I thought you only got nail or hair extentions )

and think it might be OK now.

Which package do you use to author the webpages?

Frontpage isn't very clever when it is uploaded onto a Unix box that hosts web pages. Windows Doesn't care much about case but the unix box certainly does....

Problem no.1, the link to the web page has a space in it so when you post it to this site it gets mangled by the UBB code parser. This might work (replace the space by %20). On the whole, spaces in URLs are just too much trouble. I use a hyphen "-" usually.

Problem no.2 the links on this page end in full stops which is what is breaking them. The easiest way to fix it is to open the html file on your PC in notepad and manually remove the full stops. i.e. any bit like this: Who1.jpg. needs to change to

The images are there, so that will fix everything. BTW the first one looks like Chris of "Chris Norman Maria" fame.

Another thing to be aware of is that the directory /file part of a URL is case sensitive (an unfortunate hangover from Unix file names).

I would guess from the logs that No.10 and No.11 are The Relic Hunters and I wonder if No.4 is Walker Dan? No.5 must be James&Julie

You can eliminate us, I definitely didn't take a pic...and The Northumbrian isn't there either.

The pics look fine Rob, I had a look at your site and saw the 7 caches you did on your own, You need a congrats for that also, the first two are quite a walk and where the caches are geographicly

and the roads you need to take to get to them.

Yes, the dodgy looking bloke at No. 4 is Walker Dan. I knew I shouldn't have taken the photo in the first place. I'm expecting the Northumbrian around with the Cow pie shortly.
