+Kouros
Technically not work - University - but I've only got a few weeks left, so I can justify not working quite as hard as I used to, even if it's only to myself. ------ An it harm none, do what ye will Quote Link to comment

+The Bennett Family
I'm at work. Well you wouldn't really expect me to actually work all day long surely... We take our children everywhere, but they always find their way back home... Quote Link to comment

bignoseduglyguy
OK, OK - so I'm here but here's my reason. Whilst I was out logging three caches in the City Of London yesterday (Thanks, Wombles), I was constantly called by my company's operations centre to co-ordinate a disaster recovery plan. Having organised the fix that restored service, I went home. Today, I'm back in the centre and we have the same problem again and, during this lull in the restoration process, I am sneaking a peek at the forums. The way I see it - I'm clawing back the Bank Holiday hours I spent working rather than caching yesterday. Fair enough? [] bignoseduglyguy www.bignoseduglyguy.com - obligatory caching page now added! Wronskian
I may or may not be at work. (if you remove the 'may or may not be' and replace it with 'am', the above statement is more truthful) -- Seek and ye shall find (tupperware, ammo boxes, bears, free ISP CDs...) Quote Link to comment
+SimonG
This is the first weekday in a long time that I can say 'No' to this. Reason being, I'm sitting in an Internet cafe in Hamburg. Why am I in Hamburg? Er, for work. So maybe this is a 'Yes' after all. What's your favourite thing? Quote Link to comment
+Naefearjustbeer
My company is not forward thinking enough to have general internet access for the workers. I think there are 3 or 4 internet pcs fot the 100 or so of the 300 employess that would have a genuine use for it. But then again they would probally sack anyone who used it for non work use. nice bunch of chaps really. Quote Link to comment
+Naefearjustbeer
In fact I have probally broken one of the rules they have about internet usage already . Well almost, If I had named them in the above post they could put me throught the disiplinary procedure at work!!!!!!!!!. It is againt the rules to mention them via email or chat or forums online in any way that is not directly to do with company business. Quote Link to comment

MCL
Yup. Caught red-handed. I *only* do the forums while at work. The rest of my life is far too busy to afford the time to do this sort of thing. It is now nearly half past midnight and I have about 6 more hours to kill. There are advantages to being the IT manager. You get to specify all sorts of nice toys for yourself. ADSL, CD writers, nice printers,.. Now, where is that coffee pot... No trees were harmed during the production of this posting, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.... +Chris n Maria
Yup, Personally I recon you could do a good analysis of the state of the economy by relating it to my posts. Not many Posts from Chris = Chris is Busy = Bond Traders have time to moan about their systems = quite FI markets = econonomy on the way up. So it's in all our interests that I post as much as possible to enable a full recovery of the economy - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it Chris Bear rescues a speciality!
