Moss is back :)

Recommended Posts

Moss da Boss is back and has offered his wonderful services again as an approver. icon_smile.gif We are glad that he has returned!!!

Now that he has given his admin role a second chance, I hope you all can play nicely in the sandbox. I know my mother taught me at a young age to be nice and not throw sand.

Happy Geocaching!

Why was I not told we can play with the sand? icon_wink.gif

Welcome back, Trooper...

One day my sigline will stop changing.

Until then, it's "Gone Cacheing". icon_smile.gif

Moss - A question if I May

The above says that you have come back as an approver - will you be moderating as well?

(please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes, please say yes)

The second ten million caches were the worst too.

I'm inclined to agree with that point: makes you a potential target on two counts rather than just the one. But then, I'm sure an old soldier like Moss can handle a battle fought on two fronts! icon_wink.gif

"Woof" quoth he. Oh, and "Grrr" also.

What Trolls?

By the way...

We are not sure what is happening with other mods/approvers but now Moss is back there seems to be no point in us being being involved as it seems that only 3 are needed.

We will duck out now - but point out that Slythering and DD are still available if there is a need.

Unless you don't actually want the job, I'd stay in the running and let the admins decide which two of three get the job.

I hope they are! icon_smile.gif but....

back in this thread, what/who is displayed in bold was questioned.

The short: the thing seems to be randomly* bolding users icon_mad.gif

*Or at least no one can understand what it is using to determine who's bolded and whos not.

The trouble with the world today is that everyone makes sweeping generalisations.

No, I can confirm that although we are coming up in bold type, we haven't got access to any of the admin/moderation functions.

From past experience the display of moderators and whether they are able to do anything are separate, for example Tim and June had access to admin functions long before the captions changed, and in the same way Monz has been listed as an admin for a long while after Moss T returned to the job.
