Sorry the vandals again got this cache. I have changed the listing to virtual and hope to either fish it out from the canal where it seems to be afloat or replace it. The vegetation must have died back more than I expected or the vandals are more determined!

Sorry folks but that's how it is round here.

What do you older hands think - should I do as I have and make it virtual for the time being or simply archive it? Or do as before suggested - reinstate and booby trap with a key on the page!

If this cache was mine I would archive it.

 

Then I'd fill it with dog poo and replace it in exactly the same spot

Any chance of re-locating it to some other section of Sankey Valley and change the Coords on the web page?

There were kids around when we were there, but we thought it was well enough hidden to stop them finding it.

Perhaps they read the top - you know the "Please do not remove" and need to remove it as a sign of rebellion.

 

Perhaps "feel free to toss this in the canal" might work better..... assuming they can read of course.
