+brewsterjuice
I received a report on an adventure lab complaining that the answer to a question isn't on site. See below. Report from: xxxxxx Location name: yyyyyy Location: zzzzzz Email: aaaaaaa Problem Specifics: Answer isn't on-site We recommend you review your Adventure to resolve any potential problems that keep players from completing it. This is because there is not a plaque there so you have to Google the answer. I had assumed that since AL requires internet to play that it was fair to require internet to answer. I don't see this spelled out in the guidelines. Anybody seen it written down? 3 Quote Link to comment
+Max and 99
I assume it's allowed, but did you state in the description that there's nothing there to find? I'm not a fan of those questions, but I at least expect a heads up if there's nothing there to find. Edit: I do see on your most recent AL that you do indeed state that an Internet search might be needed. Edited November 3 by Max and 99 Quote Link to comment

+JL_HSTRE
First AL Guideline is: "Require players to physically visit Adventure Locations." Adventure Labs, like geocaches, are supposed to take you to a specific location. For a physical cache that's the container, for a virtual cache it's the answer. If there is nothing there to find what's the point of the location? Edited November 14 by JL_HSTRE 3 Quote Link to comment
+x7Kevin
In the official builder guide for creating location answers it states: Location answer: The answer(s) is a code that is found or deciphered at the Location to prove that the player was there. The player will enter the Location answer directly into the app to verify the find. Choose Location answers that are unique and discreet to prevent players from finding the answer online. 2 Quote Link to comment
