who takes a camera when you go looking for a cache?

I take a camera every time we go cacheing and have a photo of every one found. Its a bit difficult when I am on my own and I do have a few photos of my leg or the grass when the camera fell over on timer mode!![]

Usually my digital camera, although a bit of fiddling is required to reduce the file size to less than 100K to allow it to upload to the website.

Like Element 14 - usually when I remember. In fact I am building up quite a library of caches done. It is a temptation to add a photo to the log which gives it all away - so far resisted or if at all a spoiler I put a note to that effect with it.

every single cache, i have a great screen saver of our travels. Its good to let people know that there cache is still in good tact. Just wish people would take photos with mine!

I usually remember to take a camera, but I don't always remember to use it. Also, given 40 frames per film, it can be a while before the piccies get developed. I've only just sent off the film that shoulld have on it pictures taken in early February...

I almost always bring the digital camera and usually post a few pictures in my logs. We met a couple new cachers on the trail once and they recognized us from the pictures in our logs. We post so many pictures that I've been accused of shameless self promotion.

Get youself a cheep Digital camera (£40) they take low res pictures under 100k so:

easy to upload

no waiting for processing

No cost to develop.

I wish people would take more pictures too.Even if they arent all that good,,,,but if everyone took a picture then the caches would be more fun

 

I know I would fin it satisfying to see someone at the place I planted the Cache.

I have a Kyocera S3 which is a very small digital camera. I have it with me all the time in a case on my belt.

I do take pictures of the cache's that I have found. But I forgot to take a pic of the best cache find. That was when I found the final 'Sherlock' cache. What a plonker...

I always take a digital camera with me. So many caches in the countryside are along lovely walks.
