Trying to map and/or add to a List, a small subset of caches using a filter on the Geocaching Search

 If I do a 10-mile search (using the geocaching.com search) on a town in my area, I get a list of 1,300 caches. I can map that listing and add them all to a List.

The listing is way too large for my purposes, if I add filters to that search I get 27 caches. This is more like what I had in mind. When I add the filter the ability to

map or add them to a List is no longer available.

 

The filtered list is what my needs are. I'm pretty sure this capability has been available in the past.

Maybe I'm missing something. I hope you can help.

You don't say what filters you added, but if they include caches that have been found by a particular cacher (other than yourself), the Map and Add to List options are removed, ostensibly for privacy reasons.

That probably is the answer. Not the one I was hoping for.
