dodgydaved
I've just watched this film again. In the last ten minutes Morgan Freeman goes caching! Admitedly he uses a compass not a GPSr. But the HINT is there. Tim Robbins tells him to look under the glass like stone that has no business being there. Mind you the cache would not have been approved, its in a dry stone wall!!!!!!! dodgydaved dodgydaved I'm NOT lost, I know exactly where I am, I'm here! Quote Link to comment
+Omally
Wonder if any of those rocks had "geocaching.com" stamped on them? Also, how come Mr Freeman didn't sign the log-book? And he didn't put something of his own into the tin in exchange. AND he didn't even re-hide it afterwards!! All in all this points to Morgan Freeman being a possible cache-trasher, and therefore should be strung from the highest yard-arm in Old Portsmouth Town! "Woof" quoth he. Oh, and "Grrr" also. MCL
You know, I forget how many times I have watched that film, and never thought of it like that! No trees were harmed during the production of this posting, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.... Quote Link to comment

brianmcm
I've seen the movie but liked the book better. In the book, Freeman's character finds the out of place stone, but was not told by Andy. It was knowledge that Andy had passed down that told him the rock did not belong in Maine. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading. +Rocky Balboa
Wouldn't it be an interesting twist if, inside the box, he found a Mcdonalds toy and a bent spoon though? Its just a hunt for a lunch box, why be so serious!?! Dan Wilson - www.Buckscaching.co.uk - Stash Notes, forums & Much more... Quote Link to comment
