Request: can CCE and Block Party be added to "Filterable Cache Types" on map please?

On the geocaching map found on the web site at https://www.geocaching.com/play/map in the "Browse geocaches" mode, one can filter on cache types. CCEvents and Block Party events were never added as filterable cache types. But with the celebrations next year where we will see many CCEvents and Block Parties being organised, it will be helpful to be able to filter for these event types. Can these types be added to the filterable cache types please?

There's not a filter in the UI for these cache types, but you can manually edit the URL to display them (and then save that link in your browser if so desired). The cache type ID for CCEs is 3653 while the ID for Block Parties is 4738. Just edit or add the "ct" (for cache type) parameter to the URL to include the desired type. For example. to see currently active Block Parties, edit the URL similar to this:

 

https://www.geocaching.com/play/map?ct=4738

 

To see both types at once, separate the two IDs with a comma like this:

https://www.geocaching.com/play/map?ct=3653,4738
