Distance Travelled on a Newly Activated Trackable?

I have recently activated 2 trackables. I have set the origin as "Southern England".

 

If the first geocaches they visit are in Germany where I am going next week, will the trackable pages show distance travelled from their place of activation to a cache in Germany? Or is distance travelled measured from the first geocache a trackable visits?

You should make a Drop and Retrieve (or a Visit) on the nearest cache from your origin...

Make sure you DATE that Drop/Retrieve before the someone else's FIRST GRAB log!
