+Berta Nick Zoey
I want to replace the battery pack that came with my 6ST. The batteries seem to wear out faster than when I bought the unit 3-4 years ago. I do realize that there is a button under the batteries that must be depressed in order for the batteries to charge in the unit. There are tricks for that that I will try. The battery pack says 2.4 volts and 2000 mH. Is it save to assume that the 2.4 volts is two 1.2 volt batteries together? Also, I am thinking that if i want to go higher in the mH rating, that is safe, correct? Quote Link to comment
+Atlas Cached
Yes, completely safe. 2000mAh batteries will provide less run time with a longer charge cycle lifetime compared to 2400mAh batteries. More info at GPSrChive > GPSMAP 66 > Operation > Power Sources. Quote Link to comment
