+Amberel
I'm trying to make a change to the final co-ords of a multi, after having to relocate the cache a short distance. I am editing the page, editing the final waypoint co-ordinates and pressing "Save" (or "Save and View"). There is no error message, but the change does not "stick". I have tried both Firefox and Chrome, and I've tried yesterday and again today, but the problem persists. Can you advise please, Rgds, Andy Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
For your own records, you can jot the correct coords in a personal cache note, perhaps with a reminder about incorrect "official" final coords. Proximity checks by the reviewer may be inaccurate, slightly, given "short distance" you mentioned. 1 Quote Link to comment
+Amberel
There may be a problem with the web page that occurs under some circumstances. As a programmer, I believe it is better to address the matter than to sweep it under the carpet. Rgds, Andy 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Can you advise please, Rgds, Andy Admin Tools Edit Waypoints Final - make your change here (You have probably done all this, but there is another step that is not obvious) After making the change to the Final coordinates you have to click somewhere on the page before you go to "Save." You will briefly see the little green circle that indicates it is doing something--it is Saving. This is doing it on the web-site on a computer (yeah, I'm old-fashioned that way). If you're doing it on a phone or on an app, YMMV Edited September 3 by NanCycle Add 1 Quote Link to comment
+Amberel
Thank you very much Nancy - that worked. As you say, it's not at all obvious, if you are editing the page for the sole reason of changing the waypoint co-ords there is no logical reason to click anywhere else on the page before saving ;-) I regard this as a bug on the web site, there are 2 ways they could deal with it: 1) Detecting that the focus has moved away from the edit box when you press the Save button, 2) the really, really obvious way - checking if it has changed when you click Save (or Save and View) the same as they do for the other fields. Do you know if there is any way to report a bug to them? Rgds, Andy Edited September 3 by Amberel Clarification Quote Link to comment

+Viajero Perdido
Now that you mention it, I think the same thing happened to me just a few days ago ... while tweaking the posted coords of a traditional. This would make it a more common scenario, and yes, a usability bug to hopefully be squashed. Quote Link to comment
