Smilas Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 (edited) One month ago someone picked up my trackable(TB9XGZ6) for the first time, and I was really excited because it was my first trackable. However they have had it for a month now, and I have messaged them but at this point I am starting to panic because they haven't messaged me back. Any suggestions? Edit: The person who had my trackable just got back to me, and everything is fine. Yay! Edited August 28, 2024 by Smilas 1 1 Quote
geoawareUSA9 Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Once you release a trackable, not much else you can do about it other than try to contact the cacher who has it and hope for the best. Many of the threads in this forum are posts from other TB owners who have had similar experiences. I was also pretty disappointed the first time it happened, but over time, I accepted that it's an inherent risk in setting a TB out in the wild. To lend some perspective, while it'd be nice if a TB wasn't sitting too long in one place or with one cacher, a month isn't too long of a wait. I have had some that weren't dropped off for over a year. 1 Quote

The best way (IMO) to get over obsessing on a trackable's situation is to buy and release more trackables. By the time you have a dozen or so out in the world, you'll just be glad to watch the ones that are moving. Quote
