pictom
Each Travel Bug has its own map. But is there any way to: Open the map in a window of its own? Remove the labels so you can actually see the route on the full Country map? I have one TB that I keep in my inventory and VISIT every cache. This is the only way I can view my geocaching journey on a map (Since doing this, not since my geocaching beginnings). I wanted to show a non-geocacher my travels in the USA with the TB. But the labels block out any semblance of a route. I would love to view the map only in a window, and to have the ability to turn off labels. Thank you for any assistance you can provide to this issue. Pictom Quote Link to comment
Spurges
On the Trackable page, click "View in Google Earth". This will download a .kml file. Then go to earth.google.com, select New, Local KML file, and Import the .kml file from your trackable. I used my screen capture on your Speed Racer 1 Quote Link to comment

My page has been loading for a good thirty minutes now. But if it takes one second for each cache to "render," then this will take two and a half hours. I'm afraid to change too many settings as I do not wish for it to start all over again. Quote Link to comment

They just came up that way, I don't even see any settings to change that might make any difference - except maybe Layers. Layers is set to "Exploration" and "3D Buildings" is the only additional layer. I'm using Firefox 129 on Windows 10 So sorry, maybe someone else that has more experience with Google Earth will comment. Quote Link to comment

I haven't figure out a way to remove the red X altogether (nor change it to a dot or something less ugly), nor even to hide the cache waypoint text. At least not all of them at once (I can right-click a single X icon and change it, and maybe clusters of them). It still gets quite cluttered for TBs that visited a lot of places in a small area, but it's nicer than those large overlapping rectangles in the OP. Edited August 8 by kunarion Quote Link to comment
