I received an adventure lab credit and i enter all the information on the first page but as soon as I press "Create Draft Adventure" I get an Error 500.  I am using Microsoft Edge as my browser. Does anyone else have this issue?

I've ben trying to get an AL created and I too am getting either logged out or the 500 error; sometimes the form is saved and sometimes not. Pretty frustrating =/  Same happens in Chrome, Firefox and Edge, both at my home and at my work.

Same here. By trying again and again, I managed to edit the description, question and answer of an AL location I'm working on, but it was quite a pain. Took about 5 tries for each of these changes to "get through".

Also hearing reports that some locations are not accepting the correct answer and reporting that the user cannot enter the solution in Offline mode...

big issues with this platform at the moment it seems.

It took me 2 days to create a simple lab. Hundreds of logins later its live. And in the end one stage doesn't work. It couldn't be tested before, because when I created the test lab, the answers where thrown out any time. I tried to save the answers... I don't know.... 20 times.
Is there any support to contact for such problems? Is there someone who cares about these programmed disaster of the lab creator?

So frustrating.

I made the tactical mistake of completing the whole adventure and stages which then failed.  Trying one stage at a time but it is random when it works and when i get the infamous error 500 message

Suffice to say, this bug is causing some havoc... there was a lot of chatter about it today at our major local annual event (which had loads of new ALs published, and a couple edited since yesterday)

Sorry, can't resolve this one...

ETA: I kindly explained the situation to him.

Hopefully, once this bug is fixed, the location register remains, and people can re-enter the correct answer from outside the zone just like an offline AL.

I would like to report a bug that the labs.geocaching.com website is very buggy right now. Clicking on any link will either throw a 500 error, show the login screen or succesfully comnplete the action.

Right now I cannot test my own AL because the last change that I made is consistently not being processed. Seems like this should be fixed sometime soon.

I also see that Firefox shows the same behaviour

I uploaded a screen recording on YT (since the attachment can only be max 3MB)

Browser: Chromium 1283036613.138

It seems that the incompletable AL bug is either fixed or there's a workaround.

An AL with a location that couldn't submit the answer can now work if the owner edits the Adventure again. It seems confirmed as myself and another owner suffering from this now have them working because at some point we re-edited the AL and saved it (or the location itself, can't remember), which seems to have reset the bug.

Can't confirm this unless another owner of a 'broken' Adventure tests this again.

But the issues with 500 errors and logging out still persist...

It is definitely not fixed! I ran into the problem today. For one of the 5 locations of a quite new AL (published 2 days ago), I got the message saying "You cannot submit correct answers when offline". And no, I was not offline.

Anyway, even if it may be related to the "Error 500" backend error when creating an AL, this app message is a problem when playing one. I'm going to create a new bug report over there ...

Um, you missed the qualification for my comment:

You most likely loaded an AL that was not edited since the bug began. Ask the owner to try re-saving the AL and/or the Location in question.

eta: (the workaround seemed to have been noticed late saturday, or overnight to sunday)

I didn't ;) . You said that the "bug is either fixed or there is a workaround", and I just wanted to point out that it is not fixed (without saying anything about your assumed workaround, because I have no data about that).

My point, which I thought was clear, was that the submitting wasn't simply fixed on its own across the system, but ONLY IF the following steps were to occur - the owner re-editing the AL.

So, no, the fact you ran an AL and it still didn't work doesn't mean it's not "fixed or there is [not] a workaround", only that the point following didn't apply to your situation.

I'd fully expect that ALs suffering from this bug but untouched since the bug appeared still don't work - if the owner did not edit and re-save the AL.

So, the test is to have an owner of a still-'broken' AL try the steps and see if that 'fixes' (uses a workaround) this bug.

I submitted an official support request for this.  The issue is with images that use CYMK colours — if you convert them to RGB it works fine.  The engineers are working on the builder to allow CYMK.
