mookey Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 who takes a camera when you go looking for a cache? Quote
dawnrazor Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 I take a camera every time we go cacheing and have a photo of every one found. Its a bit difficult when I am on my own and I do have a few photos of my leg or the grass when the camera fell over on timer mode!![] Peta Quote
+element14 Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 Usually my digital camera, although a bit of fiddling is required to reduce the file size to less than 100K to allow it to upload to the website. Quote
+VentureForth Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 ...on about 90% of my hunts. Unfortunately, it somehow stays in the car when I get out 90% of the time. Go! And don't be afraid to get a little wet! Quote
+jeremyp Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 Well I try to take a camera with me. You never know who you are going to meet when caching. Here is a photo I took of some people I met in Ely: http://jeremyp.net/geocaching/ely-1-small.jpg Hmmm.. maybe I should take a camera less often ------- jeremyp We're going to need a bigger boat! +Rocky Balboa Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 every single cache, i have a great screen saver of our travels. Its good to let people know that there cache is still in good tact. Just wish people would take photos with mine! Quote
mookey Posted April 1, 2002 Author Posted April 1, 2002 Hey jeremyp that must be the best picture you have snapped in a long time. Quote
LazyLeopard Posted April 2, 2002 Posted April 2, 2002 I usually remember to take a camera, but I don't always remember to use it. Also, given 40 frames per film, it can be a while before the piccies get developed. I've only just sent off the film that shoulld have on it pictures taken in early February... Purrs... +Sea_Dog Posted April 2, 2002 Posted April 2, 2002 I almost always bring the digital camera and usually post a few pictures in my logs. We met a couple new cachers on the trail once and they recognized us from the pictures in our logs. We post so many pictures that I've been accused of shameless self promotion. Mark Quote
+Nia Posted April 2, 2002 Posted April 2, 2002 We always take a camera, and we allways leave it in the car. We like too see pictures, so please take more, and upload them. +McDeHack Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 I have a Kyocera S3 which is a very small digital camera. I have it with me all the time in a case on my belt. I do take pictures of the cache's that I have found. But I forgot to take a pic of the best cache find. That was when I found the final 'Sherlock' cache. What a plonker... Quote
+mdshamilton Posted April 5, 2002 Posted April 5, 2002 I always take a digital camera with me. So many caches in the countryside are along lovely walks. Mark Quote
+Nia Posted April 6, 2002 Posted April 6, 2002 we do not intend to leave the camera in the car, we just allways forget it in the excitement of hunting the cache: along with: compass pen/pencil boots spoiler and weypointing the car. Quote
