Cpl Craig
Congratulations on the double century Postie. As a new boy on the scene my friends and I will have a fair bit of catching up to do. We have already found a few of your caches - thanks for the fun. Very soon we should have a few new ones for the rest of you in the NE & N.Yorks to search for. All the best, Cpl Craig and Crew www.air-cadets.org Cpl Craig Quote Link to comment

+Postie
Hi all thanks for the congrats, sorry I have taken so long to reply, 30 hours overtime a week leaves me a bit tired in my old age, can't understand where all the extra letters have come from!!! I have really enjoyed this 'sport' since Jan 5th my first cache. Highs and lows!!?? I think lows are defiantly the no finds… nothing more annoying than searching for something for ages just to see the next log say how easy it was to find… See my log on this one! http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=3355 The highs have been meeting all the new friends from geocaching and even the ones I only 'meet' via e-mail.( I have e-mailed and spoken on the phone to Gaz many times, but never met him ,yet!) If anyone has been looking at the caches I do you will have noticed that I tend to go for a few in a day and I love planning my cache trips. I spent hours planning the trip down south round the Winchester area and had a great time down there with my brother-in-law tagging along (may have a new convert there!!) I think the main thing I like about Geocaching is being able to utilize someone else's local knowledge to get to their beauty spots or places of interest. I would never have visited Steall Falls http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=27636 Or Humphrey Head http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=21817 Walker Dan's are always a challenge ! http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=13750 And just taking time to stop at a place I have driven past hundreds of times but never visited , http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=23172 So, I think the congratulations should be to all the cachers out there who have supplied me and my family with hours of pleasure (or frustration!) Thanks every one. (Every one needs a bigger letterbox!) Quote Link to comment
