Visiting a Travel Bug Hotel

Until travel bug owners put a tag on them that states their goals then picking up bugs will always be a bit of a crapshoot.

I've picked a few bugs up without knowing their goal and found that they wanted to go somewhere that I wasn't going. So the best you can do is to put them back in the next cache you go to.

I'm going to add a note on the cache page of my A1 Bug Hotel to ask anyone who drops a bug in there to make a note in the log-book as to what its goals are.

Alex.

I was thinking, Wouldn't it be a good idea to put two compartments in a hotel, one for 'outbounds' and one for 'inbounds' ?

This way, there would be no confusion ?

As a note, if there are say, 3 travel bugs in the hotel that are coming here, would you take them all and distribute them, or would you leave some for other people ??

Take all TBs that are in a Bug Hotel that want to go to the same destination as you.

When you get to the other side, it will then be up to you whether you put them in separate caches or all in one.

The important thing is the TBs have made the journey icon_smile.gif

Try this quick search which shows all caches called bug hotels a fair few are in the uk. We particularly recommend the Stanstead one. Do we get a slap now?
