+MoonHerb
When you visit a Travel Bug hotel, how do you know which bugs are outbound (ie. travelling abroad) and which are inbound ? ______________________________________________ Visit our website - http://www.moonspace.co.uk/moonherb Quote Link to comment
+stu_and_sarah
I usually check on the GC.com pages before I go to find the cache. If you forget to check, some people mention where the TB is going when they write in the log book. Sarah -- Quote Link to comment

+Kouros
A travel bug hotel is a cache near a major port or airport that is placed with the sole intention of holding travel bugs for visitors to pick up, and take with them on their journey. ------ "There's Sparticus. +Slytherin
Until travel bug owners put a tag on them that states their goals then picking up bugs will always be a bit of a crapshoot. I've picked a few bugs up without knowing their goal and found that they wanted to go somewhere that I wasn't going. So the best you can do is to put them back in the next cache you go to. I'm going to add a note on the cache page of my A1 Bug Hotel to ask anyone who drops a bug in there to make a note in the log-book as to what its goals are. +Wood Smoke
The new Gatwick Bug Hotel (West Sussex)..........oooppppsssss, is that an advert .........has tickets to be attached to the TBs to state their destination. Any TB without a ticket is considered to be staying in the UK. WoodSmoke GeocacheUK - very useful resources for the UK Geocaching community Quote Link to comment

+MoonHerb
I was thinking, Wouldn't it be a good idea to put two compartments in a hotel, one for 'outbounds' and one for 'inbounds' ? This way, there would be no confusion ? As a note, if there are say, 3 travel bugs in the hotel that are coming here, would you take them all and distribute them, or would you leave some for other people ?? ______________________________________________ Please visit our website - http://www.moonspace.co.uk/moonherb Quote Link to comment

Take all TBs that are in a Bug Hotel that want to go to the same destination as you. When you get to the other side, it will then be up to you whether you put them in separate caches or all in one. The important thing is the TBs have made the journey WoodSmoke GeocacheUK - very useful resources for the UK Geocaching community Quote Link to comment
