Humpton Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 HI there. Something changed. I'm wondering why? it used to be that if I changed the date of a log, any subsequent logs (in the same session) would start with that date too. Very useful when catching up on yesterday's (or earlier) activity. Now it defaults back to today for each new log. I've had to edit a few logs after forgetting to change the date when I have a bunch to do at the same time... I'll probably get used to it, one day, but wondering why the change if it was changed on purpose. Stay JOLLY! H Quote
+janrei_ Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Try clicking on the pin next to the date field. Then it should remember the set date until you click on the pin again or the session expires. You can find more about this change in the release notes. 2 Quote

Humpton Posted July 13, 2024 Author Posted July 13, 2024 So, something did change. A useful solution I'm a little embarrassed that I missed. Thanks for setting me straight! H Quote
+antoonvdr Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 (edited) The pin did not work for me today. I was not able to change the date of the log before or after I clicked the pin This happened when I disabled one of my caches and I wanted to put yesterday's date in as I removed the container yesterday. I am using Firefox Version 128.0.2 (64-bit). Edited July 27, 2024 by antoonvdr Quote
+janrei_ Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 The pin does not prevent you from changing the date, it just tells the logging form to remember the date you have set. However, there are some log types that enforce a specific date to avoid confusion. For example, logs that change the cache status can only be logged with the current date. 1 Quote
