+The Gecko's Posted October 30, 2002 Posted October 30, 2002 I have three caches abroad, two of which I can visit yearly for maintenance and these are actual caches, the other cache is a virtual cache as I can only visit this cache every few years. I think this is ok as if there are any problems the logs will show them up and I can decide to archive the cache if required. This is possibly one of the cases where it would be useful to be able to see who is watching a cache so that perhaps contact can be made with a potential cacher who may be able to help with maintenance. On this note does anyone know if there are any plans to show who is watching a cache? Dave Quote

+The Hornet Posted November 1, 2002 Author Posted November 1, 2002 I have decided to place the caches. Reasons given on the original thread. Thanks for everyone for their comments both here and in e-mails. _________________________________________________________ It is better to regret something you did, rather than to regret something you didn't do. Ben Pid Posted November 1, 2002 Posted November 1, 2002 I have just planted my first abroad cache, I dont think its such a problem because if I cant check it I can get my brother or friend to do so for me, I agree though, plant the caches. Pid Ben Piddington http://www.buckscaching.co.uk Quote
