Problems with uploading a cartridge on Wherigo.com

Hi,

during the last few months we built our first Wherigo cartridge with URWIGO and now it is ready to upload it. Unfortunately I always get the following error-message while uploading it:

 

 

So I read a bit in this forum and it seems like that this is a common problem. I already tried the following steps for solving it:

• I reduced the size of the GWZ file from 27MB to 17MB by deleting not necessary sound files
• We tried it with a different computer, but it doesn't work there either.
• Also I removed all German "Umlaute"

 

But I still get this strange error massage. What have I done wrong? Are there any other common mistakes, that could have made?

Can you use the compile service link to compile the cartridge?

 

I could also look at the cartridge if I have time this weekend.

Yes, I´ve got it! 

The problem was that cartridge title was too long. But thanks to this a bit older forum post, I recognized it.

 

Nevertheless, thanks to Ranger Fox for the answer and help offered.

Hi, I have the same problem. My cartridge is only 3MB.

 

The only thing you mention above that I did not address is that the description does contain some Polish letters. Do you think it makes sense to remove them and try again?

 

Btw I tried the compile service and it works just fine. It's just the permanent upload that gives me an error.
