dgarwood Posted August 6, 2002 Share Posted August 6, 2002 Hi I'm hosting a late evening programme on a community radio station - susyradio 531 - which is broadcasting across Suussex and Surrey during August. It is a Restricted Service Licence station fully supported by the Radio Authority. As part of the programme, I am going to do a feature on geocaching. The whole feature would be enhanced by a live phone interview with a "devotee". I wondered whether there might be someone from the geocaching community who would be interested in taking part in the programme. Typical stuff: what is it? Why do it? What's in the box? A five minute chat. No fee (we are a community station!) but a chance to go on air. If you are interested, please email me at dgarwood@btinternet.com (with phone number) or call me tomorrow on 01225-864141 (9am to 6pm). I need a quick response as I have to finalise details by close of play on Wed 7 August The show goes out between 10pm and 1am on Thursday evening and I expect to do the interview at about 10:45 pm You can check out susyradio on 531 am in the Redhill area or at www.susyradio.com and click on "Listen now". Delighted to say that we have a willing correspondent. The item will be broadcast at 10:45 pm on Thursday 8 August. The broadcast will be on the Web at www.susyradio.com - just click on "Listen now. You will need Realplayer or a similar program to receive the broadcast. If for any reason the link doesn't work, you can enter the url direct into the program by typing live.susyradio.co:12631. Listeners in the Redhill area can get the broadcast at 531khz on am. I will try to get a recording for you to use on your resource page.
