+Jayeffel Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 Is there a way to find a cache that has been archived. I know a place that would be good to hide a cache and mentioned that to another cacher. He said there was a cache there maybe five years ago. I do not remember that one and since it is maybe two blocks from my house would have gone for it. Just curious. Quote

If you know the CO (or one of the finders), then you can look in that person's history and find the archived caches that user owns (or has found), because archived caches remain part of your history. But that assumes that the CO (or finder) hasn't hidden such information from other users. Project GC does allow you to search for archived caches. It might be a premium (paid Project GC membership, not paid geocaching.com membership) feature though. 1 Quote
+Jayeffel Posted June 25, 2024 Author Posted June 25, 2024 Found it; it\ was archived 5 years before I started caching; no wonder I did not remember it! 1 1 Quote
