detailedwings
My parents recently moved and found a Travel Bug in their storage from when they used to do Geocaching years ago. They gave it to me and I tried to look up the code, but it's asking me to enter the activation code and activate it. I'm not sure if this is a travel bug that my mom found or bought and never activated, but if it does have a history, I would like to be able to access it somehow. I do see a link to retrieve the activation code, which I will use if necessary, but I'd like to be able to continue the log that the Travel Bug had before if there is one. Any advice is greatly appreciated Quote Link to comment
+Team D.A.R.K.
Sounds like it hasn't been activated. If it is something you want to sell, then I would say not to activate it. Otherwise, I'd attach it to something (very optional), activate it, and put it in a cache. Quote Link to comment
+ice13-333
The information asking you to activate the trackable is a sign, that it has never been activated - so there would be no history to keep. You can sell, gift or keep it if you like to geocache also. if you like me to doublecheck the activation status, you can send me the trackingnumber via personal message and i will have a look. (i won´t activate it by myself for sure). Regards Ines 1 Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
Since your trackable was never activated, there is no "log" to it. If you don't activate it, it's simply a souvenir of the hobby. Here's pretty-much everything you might need to know about Trackables. Quote Link to comment
